Submission requirements

Two copies of each book and a cover letter should be sent to:

There is no limit to the number of eligible titles submitted by authors/publishers.

For the sake of uniform publicity publishers are encouraged to email:

● Α high resolution image of the front cover of each book submitted.

● A link to the book(s) on the publisher’s website.

(This process also helps to confirm the eligibility of submissions and to ensure that allowances can be made for delayed consignments)

​The committee may also solicit review copies of titles they consider to fit the parameters of the IHP.

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS FOR THE 2025 PRIZE WILL BE: FRIDAY, 6th FEBRUARY, 2026

The IHP was established in 1996 and first awarded for books published in 1997. The IHP award event always takes place during the year following the publication date of books submitted for the prize, after adjudication has been completed. In 2026 we will award the 2025 International Hellenic Prize to one title from the list of submissions of 2025 publications.
